My great Grandmother was an amazing woman. Her name was Vera. She was competely deaf. She would sleep with her hand on her baby’s chest so that she could tell if he or she cried. She raised seven children this way.
She was also a kind of neighborhood psychic. All the women in her town would come to her and she would read tea leaves for them.
I don’t read tea leaves, but every morning I read the cream swirls in my coffee (tea now – I have up coffee).
The swirls make shapes and each of those shapes are symbols. I know a lot about symbols, so I just apply them to my life. It’s a lot of fun.
